Why other tools produce several tables
Table-extraction tools often take their column layout from the first table they find, which on many statements is a small account summary, and then apply it to the real transaction table. Page breaks can also split one table into several.
How Satr handles it
It finds rows by date patterns, joins undated continuation lines to the previous description and builds one table across all pages. The preview shows the first 15 rows in full together with the total row count and page count, so you can see if something is missing.
What to check
Compare the number of rows with the number of transactions you expect, and check the first and last rows. Statements with several accounts on one PDF can need splitting by hand.
Limits
Satr works with text PDFs downloaded from internet or mobile banking. It does not read scans or photos (no OCR), it uses a generic parser with no per-bank templates so you may need to set the column types yourself, and it is not affiliated with any bank. Check the result against your original statement before you use it.
Questions
Will page headers and footers end up in my data?
Lines without a date are not treated as transactions, so repeated headers are normally left out. Check the preview to be sure.
My description spans two lines. Is that handled?
Yes, continuation lines are joined to the previous transaction's description.
Is there a page limit?
The free preview processes the whole file locally; the free download contains the first 15 rows and the paid export contains all rows.
